Rose received her bachelors degree in astrophysics right here at the University of Colorado Boulder and worked for SBO for 4 years during and after her degree. She worked as as the systems engineer and staff astrophysicist at Software Bisque, a telescope company in Golden, CO. She has volunteered as an observer in occultation campaigns in support of the New Horizons and Lucy NASA missions. She has also worked with SpaceX on Crew Dragon, NASA with CPAS (Orion Capsule parachute program), and Virgin Galactic.
